Praise is a positive experience that motivates further performance. Some people value communicated recognition of their work even more than money. This is demonstrated now and then by the commitment of these individuals to volunteer work. Of course, there may be several reasons for this, but recognition is sometimes also a reason.

3. Transfer responsibility
When you delegate responsibility to a person, give them credit.
Transferring responsibility is therefore also a form of praise. Not only because an increase in responsibility is often also associated with a wage or salary increase. In this context, it is actually a form of appreciation that motivates many employees the most.
Transferring responsibility also works for children for example, as praise for correct behavior when they are allowed to do something they were not allowed to do before. They could be permitted to go shopping on their own, for example.
4. Offer privileges
If you want to convey to a person that you appreciate his or her work, you can also achieve this with privileges. The person in question will understand this as a special kind of appreciation. For an employee, for example, a company car or their own office can be a privilege.
5. Recognizing the goodwill and overlooking small mistakes
There are people who put a lot of effort into their work. Nevertheless, they do not succeed as desired or required. Since people who want to perform a task entrusted to them to their complete satisfaction find it difficult to put failure behind them and sometimes react with frustration, a great deal of sensitivity is required on the part of the supervisor.
Instead of harsh criticism, a few words of encouragement have the effect of recognition for the employee who is making the effort. The person “praised” in this way is sure to make even more of an effort.
6. Special leave and salary increase
Granting special leave or a salary increase is often used to convey recognition. Those who have made special contributions over the years and, in most cases, have been with the company long enough, have earned a special allowance.
Announced in the presence of the other employees, a salary increase or special leave has a motivating effect. After all, colleagues now know what can be expected for appropriate performance.
